✨ How It’s Made
Each bookmark is laser cut and engraved from durable maple wood, allowing for sharp detail and clean edges. The engraving process lightly burns the surface, creating natural contrast that makes the design stand out. After engraving, I hand sand, clean, and inspect each bookmark before finishing it with a hand-tied ribbon or charm.
This process creates a piece that’s both functional and thoughtfully crafted — a lasting keepsake for readers and gift-givers alike.
✨ About the Material
Maple Wood
We love using maple wood for its light, natural tone and smooth finish. This 1/8" thick hardwood is incredibly versatile and provides a beautiful contrast for engraved details. The laser engraves and cuts maple cleanly, leaving behind rich, caramel-toned burn lines that give each design depth and character. Once cut, we sand, paint, or seal each piece to bring out the wood’s natural charm and craft it into something special.
